Q1) Who is  '3Dcontrols Inc.'?

A) 3DControls Inc. is a ceramic 3D printing company founded in 2014 that specializes in ceramic 3D printing technology.

     The headquarters is located in Busan, Korea as an R&D laboratory, staffed with experts including a doctor of ceramic engineering, a doctor of dentistry, and master's and doctoral researchers in the field of new materials.

     We have a production technology research center in Seong-nam, Korea, and we are demonstrating production technology for wide-area remote production using ceramic 3D printing technology.

     Ceramic resins and 3D printing equipment were developed entirely by purely our own technology.


Q2) When the 3d printer, TD6+ launched?

A) The ceramic 3D printer was successfully commercialized on the 6th attempt after a total of 5 prototypes, and the first device was finally released in July 2023.


Q3) In which country is it used?

A) Including Korea, The main export countries are the United States, India, and Switzerland, and purchases are expected from Germany, Japan, and China.


Q4) Who did purchase and use it?

A) A high-tech design center specializing in jewelry in Mumbai, India was  opened in 2024, TD6+ SET was delivered through a tender by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and has been currently operated for jewelry designers.

Q5) What do we R&D?

A) We have been R&D of Ceramic 3D printing technology to overcome the limitations of traditional machining methods such as cutting, molding, and casting.

   . R&D of photocurable resin composition for optimizing photocuring reaction

   . R&D of uniform dispersion stability of ceramic particles in slurry to improve output quality.

   . R&D of viscosity optimization and sedimentation prevention through development of resin stability improvement technology.

   . R&D of polymer binder to increase bonding strength between ceramic powders and facilitate debinding and sintering.

   . R&D of light source control technology and optimization for uniform light intensity control and uniform curing rate maintenance

   . R&D of the mechanism of the driving platform for improving stacking precision.

   . R&D of high-density output technology to maintain strength and dimensional stability.

   . R&D of sintering process optimization to minimize shrinkage deformation after output and reduce porosity.

   . R&D of mass production process platform for mass production


Q6) What technology patents and certifications do we hold?

A) We have 19 patents and papers related to ceramic 3D printing.

   . We have the Korea Small and Medium Business and Venture Business Certification.

  . We were selected as a Post Tips Startup Company in 2024 by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups of the Republic of Korea.

  . After its launch in 2023, We received the ‘Excellent Procurement Innovation Product Certification’ from the Public Procurement Service of the Republic of Korea, and it has been used by many National R&D Centers as a pilot purchase project since 2024.

  . KC certification : In 2023 , 3D printer (TD6+), washing machine (C1), sintering furnace (R0), 2024 polishing machine (P1)

  . CE certification: In 2024 , 3D printer (TD6+), sintering furnace (R0), Polishing machine (P1) (Washing machine is not subject to CE certification.)

  . FDA Class II certification : In 2023 , US Partner, Steinfield has received. This approval must be obtained individually from the company that intends to use it.
